ARE YOU AWARE OF GOD’S ARMOUR

” Finally, be strong in the Lord… put on the full armour of God …so that you can take your stand against the devil” (Eph. 6:10 – 11)

We are in the evil days. The devil is moving about like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour. You can not afford to be a victim.

As believers, you must be strong in the Lord. There is no room for weak Christians in the battle of life. While the Lord has given you the assurance of victory in the battle of life, it’s your responsibility as a believer to build yourself up on your most holy faith so you can match the devil’s onslaught.

You have the power of God inside you as a believer, but you need to explore this power and make it your daily reality. That is why the Bible says you must put on the whole armour of God.

The armour of God is accessible to every believer. Ephesians 6:11 talks about the full armour of God needed to withstand the devil’s scheme. As a believer, you must embrace all of them and learn how to engage them so you can deal with the rulers, authorities, and spiritual wickedness in the high places as indicated in Ephesians 6:12

First, you need the belt of truth round your waist. The truth is the revelation of what God says on every matter. Without this understanding, the devil will confuse you and take advantage of your ignorance.

Second, you need the breastplate of righteousness. You must avoid any contamination of the flesh that can open the door for the enemy in your life. You must live in holiness.

Third, you must be at the forefront of proclaiming the gospel which is the power of God for migrating people from the den of the devil (Rom. 1:16). Let your feet be beautiful for the gospel.

Fourth, you need the shield of faith to quench all the fiery dirts of the devil. Faith guarantees victory in any battle of life.

Fifth, your helmet of salvation, which is the assurance that you are saved, must be intact. You can’t confront the devil when you’re in doubt of your stand with God.

Sixth, you must master how to use the sword of the Spirit, the word of God, at the battle front. You must be loaded with Rhema in your spirit. Jesus engaged this skillfully to outwit the devil. You must know what’s written in the word and how to apply it for every situation.

Seventh, you must learn how to pray in the spirit. You must be baptized in the Holy Ghost. This is a means of engaging the supernatural to challenge the demonic networks in spiritual warfare.

If you engage these armour in your daily warfare, victory is guaranteed, and your adventure in life will be colourful.
