The Author

Richard Templar is the pen name of this British author who has written several self-development books. He shares his “path to success” in a series of books, in which 100 simple “Rules” are presented to achieve success: be it in business, money, or life in general. Rules are typically presented on two pages, making the books easy to read, and suitable for dipping into at random. The books contain the distinctive use of British English. One reviewer writes that Templar’s style is in neither of the “iron fisted” or “fuzzy warm” camps prevalent in American management books, but mixes both.

Life is guided by principles and they are universal in nature and operations. If you follow them, you reap the harvest of good fortunes they bring; but if you ignore them, then be ready to bear the consequence as well. The Rules of Wealth is a set of behaviors that separate the wealthier from the less wealthy. They are a personal code for a more prosperous life.

Money – it makes the world go round. We all secretly believe that it can make us happy. After all, wouldn’t it be great to have enough of it so you don’t need to worry? Enough to buy that dream house, car, or simply enough so you don’t have to think about what you’re spending. So how do the wealthy get rich? Is it luck? Or do they know something we don’t?
