The Author

This book is written by Bishop Oyedepo. For more than three decades, David O. Oyedepo has been part of the current charismatic renaissance sweeping through the African continent. His faith-based teachings have literally transformed millions of lives. Oyedepo was called with a specific divine mandate to liberate the world from all oppression of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith. He is the Founder and President of Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a Winners’ Chapel International, with a network of over 5,000 churches in Nigeria and near a thousand across 60 other nations on five major continents of the world. He has published over 60 highly impactful titles covering a range of issues, with about ten million copies in circulation. He is the senior pastor of the 50,000 – seat church sanctuary – the renowned Faith Tabernacle, Canaan Land, a suburb of Lagos, Nigeria, reputed to be the largest church auditorium in the world, where currently four services run on Sundays with near 200,000 worshipers recorded every Sunday morning. He also founded the renowned Covenant University and Landmark University.

Insights from the Book

Bishop Oyedepo seeks to establish in this book that man is a unique creature and possesses unusual endowments. He noted that there is so much inside man that only eternity can reveal the total worth of the creature called Man. He insisted that every child of God have what it takes to make the most out of life! If ordinary minds have produced the outstanding results we see today, then God is expecting you to do better than that, to produce extraordinary results by the appropriate use of your God-given mind. If those who are not born again are still getting great results, then imagine how much God is expecting from you and me. The state of your life is determined by the state of your mind. Your thoughts hold the key to your life. The reason for writing the book is therefore clearly defined -to help the reader discover that their destiny is in their hands. He believes that through the appropriate use of the mind, you can produce the changes you desire, for, as he thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). Ultimately, you will be open to the way of a better, happier and richer life!
